What is new 2024
SUPERMODEL has received massive upgrades. We’ve trimmed its weight by an impressive 550 grams, completely redesigned the bridle system from an 8-point to a 12-point setup, and introduced HTF2.
Reedin has once again taken SUPERMODEL to a whole new level.
Key points
Weight Reduction
By reducing the total weight by up to 15% compared to last year’s SUPERMODEL, flight characteristics have significantly improved. The 9m kite is now 450 grams lighter, resulting in increased responsiveness, higher jumps, better low-wind performance, and faster loops—the benefits are endless.
All-New Bridles
Our goal was to create an even more stable platform in all conditions. By adding four additional attachment points, we have designed a kite that is not only more stable in strong winds but also noticeably stiffer, more responsive, and steady in flight.
HTF 2
The introduction of the Hybrid Torsion Frame was a major success, and through further development, testing, and analysis, we have significantly improved its performance. New materials in the struts and an added FLEXLITE segment make the kite respond even faster, turning smoother and quicker than ever before.
A Dream for Kite Loops
Optimizing canopy tension, seams, and trailing edge materials has drastically reduced the risk of canopy flutter during aggressive loops, which could otherwise slow the kite down. The SUPERMODEL loops effortlessly while accelerating through the turn, delivering the most controlled and confident landings.
