Developed in collaboration with Austin Kalama and Koa Fabio, the Chimera Series is the ultimate wingfoil/surffoil board for experienced riders seeking a versatile and powerful board for all aspects of foiling: surf, tow, and wing foiling.
Inspired by the rocker lines of the Hover Surf Ascend, the NEW Chimera Series is designed to push the limits of what's possible on a foil in waves.
Built with a Biaxial Carbon/glass sandwich construction, it offers superior durability, maintaining critical structural integrity while preventing dents and cracks from hard landings. At the same time, it is lighter than ever.
The narrow shape and low volume dramatically enhance maneuverability and turning performance on waves. The extended waterline and bottom shape provide higher speed at take-off and faster acceleration from the water surface.
Beveled edges ensure quick touchdowns and a sharp tail release, maximizing efficiency when getting up on foil. This allows riders to use a board approximately 10 liters smaller than their usual volume.
The modified volume distribution improves the board’s balance profile, making it easier to handle. The recessed deck with a slight W-shaped concavity and EVA pad offers maximum comfort when paddling and ergonomic foot placement for optimal control, keeping you secure without the need for straps.
