The Foil Drive Assist Slim is the smaller, lighter, performance-focused model of the Foil Drive Gen2. With the Travel battery, you can take your Foil Drive kit on your flight (always check with the airline beforehand). Designed for the ultimate performance in e-foil, assist foiling. Despite its small size, it provides plenty of power to get you on the foil easier and faster, but the smaller batteries reduce runtime. Assist Slim is perfect for advanced, high-performance riders or wingers/downwinders who don’t require much battery capacity. All Foil Drive kits now come with a 20cm cable and the V2 Motor, which means you only need to change the cable to adjust the motor position on the foil.
For whom?
The Foil Drive Assist Slim is perfectly suited for those who are just looking for an extra boost to get up on the foil or to foil on smaller boards and foils. Assist Slim is not suitable for long periods of motor-assisted foiling like e-foiling; it simply provides a boost to get up on the foil and continue foiling. Experienced foilers and downwind riders will love the low profile and weight but need to be disciplined when using the motor. Wingfoilers who want to get up in marginal wind typically don’t require long runtimes and will also appreciate the low profile and weight.
